Nepal With Ghorepani Trekking, Trisuli Rafting and Chitwan National Park - 15 Days
Travel to Nepal
Day 01 - Arrive Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02 - Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu, Swoyambhunath and Patan.
Day 03 - Fly Kathmandu / Pokhara - Commence 6 days trek. Overnight at Dhampus.
Day 04 - Dhampus to Ghandrung
Day 05 - Ghandrung to Banthanti
Day 06 - Banthanti to Ghorepani
Day 07 - Ghorepani to Hile
Day 08 - Hile to Pokhara
Day 09 - Drive to Charudi to commence 2 days raft trip on Trishuli River.
Day 10 - End rafting and drive to Chitwan National Park. O/N at Jungle Lodge.
Day 11 - Full day Jungle activities at Chitwan National Park.
Day 12 - Full day Jungle activities at Chitwan National Park.
Day 13 - Drive back to Kathmandu. Free in the evening.
Day 14 - Sightseeing of Bhaktapur, Pashupati and Boudhanath.
Day 15 - Transfer to the airport for the final departure.
Itinerary Detail
Day 01 - Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will transfer you over to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Trip briefing in the evening.

Day 02 - Post breakfast then you have sightseeing around the Kathmandu city. It includes Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, and the temple of living Goddess the Kumari. You visit kasthamandap, the famous temple built from a single tree from which Kathmandu derives her name. A Short drive takes you to Swayambhunath; the oldest Budhist shrine, located to the west of Kathmandu city on the hill. You will have lunch break at suitable and nice place will be shown by your guide.
In the afternoon you will be taken to the city of Patan, an ancient city of fine art. The King Vera Deva built it in the year 299 A.D. It's renowned for fine arts in Copper, Silver and Bronze. Some time called ‘the city with a thousand golden roofs.' The city remains a center for craftsmen and artist who are anxious to protect the tradition. We also visit the Tibetan handicraft center to watch the weavers weaving fine quality rugs. The back to the Hotel for overnight.

Day 03 - Kathmandu to Dhampus (1787m.)
After early morning start, you will fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Prokhara is beautiful lakeside town. Upon your arrival you will drive for 30m. through the Tibetan refugee camp, the village of Brahmins & Chhetries. The drive ends at Dhampus phedi from where the trek begins. Before you leave for trek you will have lunch nearby Yamdi Khola. Lunch is usually long & relaxing affair through out your trip, which gives you ample amount of time to write dairy, washing, exploring around the area or simply stretch your legs and enjoy the atmosphere. Right after the lunch you start the trek. From the starting point the trail continues up to the ridge for another couple of hours to the Guesthouse area, in the Gurung Village of Dhampus. This is your first over night in the mountain with dramatic view of Annapurna south (7219m.), Hinchuli (6441m.), Machhapuchre (6993m.), Annapurna III (7555m.) & IV (7525m.) so takes time to enjoy the magnificence.

Day 04 - Dhampus to Ghandrung (1950m.)
As you wake up in the morning and peep through your window, you see the breathtaking view the Annapurna range. The Fishtail Mt. is right in front of you. The wonderful spot for picture taking. After your breakfast you walk about an hour to reach the top of the Dhampus ridge called Pothana from where the mountain reappear. From Pothana you move along the ridge through the village of Bhichuk and Bherikharka. Descending steadily through the forest of tropical trees, fern, shrubs, you come across a stream where you might have a lunch break. The afternoon takes you down through the forest and small villages to Landrung. Along the way you pass by schools, people tending their stocks, working in the filed, presenting an opportunity to become acquainted with village life.
We go over the Modi Khola suspension bridge and then ascend above Modi valley along terraces, coming to our first encounter with stone as we climb up to Ghandrung. Ghandrung is a large and prosperous Gurung Village and is home to many of Gurkha Solders. Its also first regional headquarters for the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP).

Day 05 - Ghandrung to Banthanti (2250m.)
The trail from Ghandrung climbs through the dense rhododendron and oak forest all the way to Ghorepani. In 3 hours the trail takes you to Bhainsi Kharke where most probably you will have lunch. After your lunch the trail climbs gently for another 1 hour to reach Tadapani on a ridge. The view from Tadapani is quite dramatic as you can see Annapurna (8091m.) and Machhapuchre (6993m.) at a close view. Another an hour and half from tadapani will take you to Banthanti for overnight.

Day 06 - Banthanti - Ghorepani (2853m.)
After your breakfast you will head up to open ridge at 3200m. to Deurali in couple hours. Here you get the magnificent views of the giant western peaks of the northwest and Kaligandaki valley, the deepest one in the world. From Deurali pass you descend to Ghorepani at (2753m.) where you will encounter more travelers.

Day 07 - Ghorepani - Hile (1750m.)
Today you go up to the Pun Hill early morning about 40 minutes from Ghorepani, the view of the Thak Khola valley is unique and to enjoy the spectacular views of Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Nilgiri (7061m.), Fang (7062m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.) in the north and Annapurna I (8091m.) & Annapurna II (7937m.), in the northeast. And back to your guest house for breakfast then
you will be descending for about 5 hours to Hile, The trail heads southeast through the dense evergreen forest and the terraces around the large Magar village of Ulleri at 2073m. where you will have lunch then the trail drops steeply to the river and some more easier walk to Hile for overnight..
Day 08 - Hile to Pokhara (830m.)

After your morning breakfast you will be walking down along the river an excellent spot for wash and swim, if you are willing to dare the cold water. After the lunch at Birethanti you will walk along the flatten road for about 40 minute to end trek at Nayapul where your vehicle would be waiting for your drive to Pokhara. For over night.

Day 09 - Breakfast at the hotel and you will drive for 4 hours to the river put in point at Charaudi for 2 days river rafting tour. After the crew assembles the equipments, the river guide will explain the use of safety equipments and proper river procedures. During the day you will hit the numbers of rapids, rafting 3-5 grades. We use the scale developed on the Colorado River. It is a one to ten scale, one being the easiest and then the most difficult. All the rapids are given the Nepali and English names; our guides can relate the story behind each one. You spend 3 hours pursuing a variety of interest like Photography, Fishing, Birding and Swimming. We lunch at one of the sandy Beach.
Your first camp will be below Kuringhat, where the crewmembers will pitch tent for you. After having hot tea or coffee or chocolate with biscuits, our river guide will cook hot delicious dinner for the evening.

Day 10 - your second day on the river is more scenic float through the deep Canyon, where you still encounter few small good rapids. You pass through small waterfalls streams from lush grottoes. Your raft ends after lunch. Then drive for couple of hours to Jungle Lodge in Chitwan National park. One of the best wildlife areas in Asia. The flora and fauna includes more than 53 species of mammals and more then 520 species of birds are recorded here. If you happen to be lucky you may see the Tiger and leopard and many interesting Birds.
If time permits in the afternoon you will have an Elephant ride safari for wildlife viewing. This can be the amazing experience you will ever have again. After having 2 hours ride (other wise next day) you will be back to the lodge for overnight. Excellent meals are served and well stocked bar provides refreshment aster a long jungle excursion of each day.

Day 11 - Before your breakfast you will be gone out in the jungle for bird watching, which may last one to two hours depending on your interest. You will be accompanied by the resident Naturalist all the time. After breakfast you will be taken for canoe ride and further jungle walk then back to hotel for Lunch then afternoon you will go for the Elephant safari for wildlife viewing. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 12 - After your breakfast you will be taken for game drive by jeep for 3 hour. After lunch we will go for 2 hours nature walk into the deep jungle or for a village cum jungle walk. Over night at the lodge.

Day 13 - After early morning Nature walk and Breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu taking a very scenic road passing through small towns of different ethnic groups and the fabulous landscape make the drive more picturesque. Arrive Kathmandu for overnight.

Day 14 -Full day sightseeing of Bhaktapur, Pashupati and Baudha.
Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley's most medieval city Bhadgaon also known by its alternate name Bhaktapur. Here are ancient temples and palaces that show off the Newar craftsmanship of intricately carved wooden windows and latticework. We get to visit the Lion gate, Picture Gallery, Palaces of windows etc. after Bhaktapur you will visit Pashupati and Boudha as well. Then back to your hotel.

Day 15 - Transport to the airport for final departure.
